Funding and rebates
Clients may be eligible for funding or rebates for speech pathology assessment and therapy services.
Medicare
Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM)
Clients may be eligible to receive a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan from their GP.
The plan allows clients to access up to 5 partially rebated sessions with an allied health professional per calendar year. Please note that this plan does not cover the cost of assessment reports.
Helping Children with Autism (HCWA)
Families who wish to access assessment or therapy services for Autism are able to request a plan from their paediatrician. The plan allows clients up to the age of 13 to receive a partial rebate for up to 4 assessment sessions. Clients with a diagnosis of Autism can access up to a total of 20 partially rebated therapy sessions until the age of 15.
NDIS
Clients may already receive or be eligible to receive funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Funding through this scheme allows participants to access ongoing therapy and support services to improve their everyday independence.
The team at Blossom Speech Therapy is experienced in supporting NDIS participants create and reach their goals.
We can provide services to NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan managed.
Private Health Insurance
Clients who have private health insurance with extras cover may be eligible to receive rebates for speech pathology services. Please contact your private health care provider for more information.
